Sound Attenuators
Noise attenuators / silencers are used in order to reduce the noise generated by the HVAC fans of air conditioning and ventilation systems, as well as to even out the generated airflow.
Silencers have applicability both in the industrial and transport area, and in that of civil, administrative or commercial buildings.
Sound Attenuators Characteristics
We manufacture sound attenuators with a rectangular section frame with removable modular elements. They use absorptive fibrous material within sound baffles with perforated sheet metal facings that allow sound energy to pass through and be absorbed by the fibrous fill.
The sound silencers are located in the same enclosure as the HVAC fans, with the slots arranged in front of the propellers, so that the entire volume of air set in motion flows through the modular boxes of the attenuator.
Noise attenuators consist of 400x500x2000 mm rectangular cassettes (width x height x depth) and have the following acoustic performance:
